Traverser la nuit is a serie of images that combines photographs and embroidery.

Taken between 2023 and 2024, the images show strange and unreal landscapes.

Like incandescent images, I drew on my memories of teenage sensations to create this series. The Cap Corsin landscapes, my home territory, are buried by clouds or thick mists, they mix with images taken from films where the silhouettes are almost ghostly and impalpable like fleeting memories or dreamed images. The common thread of this series is night, a moment when the rational benchmarks of day fall and allow another perception of things. Embroidery and needle drilling here poeticize certain details and give materiality to intangible vibrations and energies.

Traverser la Nuit will has been exhibited at la Chambre Claire of the Cultural Services of the University of Rennes II in 2024 then at Campredon Art & Images in the exhibition Rêve!
